MDM SME

Position Summary

MDM SME at NIQ will be primarily responsible for driving data governance related tasks like cleansing data reconciliation governance framework drive governance meetings align with GPO SDL on the projects or MDM roadmap. Also he will be partially involved in BAU activities related to all master data objects mainly Finance Customer Vendor Finance & Materials. Your focus will be ensuring the accuracy consistency and integrity of financial master data which is essential for smooth and efficient financial reporting processes

Key Responsibilities:

Data Governance Initiatives: Drive data governance initiatives like data cleansing governance meetings alignment with GPO/SDL on SLAs MDM Knowledge communication rollout etc.

Data Quality Control: Implement controls and checks to maintain the integrity and accuracy of all master data objects. Regularly review and cleanse data to prevent and correct inaccuracies. Aligning with business & GPOs for data cleansing activities.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the process management of master data. Lead initiatives to streamline and improve data handling and reporting processes within the ERP system. Assist in the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in record to report activities.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments including finance IT operations legal and tax teams to ensure that the CoA structure aligns with internal financial strategies and compliance requirements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support various reporting and compliance initiatives.

Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and conduct analyses to support financial operations and audits. Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends and anomalies. Assist in preparing monthly quarterly and annual schedules and internal and external reporting packages.

Ad hoc Support and Strategic Initiatives: Provide support for ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management being actionoriented and missiondriven to manage Statutory Accounting Fin Ops quality levels through service level agreements performance metrics KPIs and continuous governance.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Information Systems or a related field. At least 7 years of experience as Master Data Analyst or in a similar role a proven experience with ERP systems particularly in managing and analyzing financial data within a Chart of Accounts.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills with ERP platforms especially in financial modules. Proficiency in data analysis tools and advanced Excel skills.
• Analytical Abilities: Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills with a strong focus on detail and data accuracy.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities capable of effectively interacting with and influencing various stakeholders.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills able to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
