About

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team in Italy. Reporting to the Accounting and Consolidation Manager you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with IFRS principles. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a detailoriented mindset to support our accounting and financial operations.

Your mission

  • Provide accounting support to the Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable and Treasury teams.
  • Prepare monthend accounting accruals and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial closing reports in collaboration with the Financial Planning & Analysis team.
  • Conduct General Ledger reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Prepare Intercompany Balance Sheet (BS) and Profit & Loss (P&L) account reconciliations.
  • Apply IFRS accounting adjustments particularly on lease costs.
  • Analyze and reconcile monthly reporting packages from subsidiaries.
  • Manage Intercompany monthly P&L and BS reconciliations.
  • Maintain mandatory Accounting Books and Accounts including Journal Entries Register VAT Register and Fixed Assets Register.
  • Record payroll data and conduct monthly and annual payroll cost and liability reconciliations.
  • Handle Fixed Assets accounting with a focus on intangible assets capitalization (e.g. R&D costs).

This is what you bring along

  • A degree in Economics Finance or Business Management.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an audit firm or a corporate finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS principles (mandatory).
  • Familiarity with Navision ERP is a plus.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong communication and problemsolving skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
