Job Description
- Location: 30852 San Antonio St. Hayward CA 94544
- Compensation: $44/hour
- 5am to 130pm. Sunday and Friday off.
As a Maintenance Technician In this role you will:
- Inspect test troubleshoot repair and install machinery equipment and electrical devices (such as transformers relays circuit breakers starters and safety and limit switches) both working alongside another maintenance technician as well as working on your own.
- Solve different problems every day; were seeking someone who thrives on problemsolving and independent decisionmaking.
- Layout assemble install and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Install troubleshoot and repair refrigeration and Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment and Programmable Logic Controllers
- Repair and maintain boilers water heaters water conditioning equipment and all water distribution systems
- Identify safety issues with machines document issues develop an action plan to resolve concerns and follow up to ensure problems are resolved
- Monitor machines to ensure all levels are within EPA OSHA and other government guidelines
Qualifications :
- HS Diploma
- 2 years of Technical School Training and/or 5 years related experience in distribution or manufacturing environment and/or licensed journeyman of a skilled trade
- 2 years as a Maintenance Technician
- Basic understanding of refrigeration plumbing welding hydraulics and facility maintenance nice to have
- Read and interpret mechanical diagrams and electrical schematics
Certificates Licenses Regulations:
- EPA REFRIGERATION CERTIFICATION (Type II or Universal) nice to have
