Our client is a respected familyowned business based in Karratha WA they are seeking a skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic/ Fitter to join their team. Offering both locally based and FIFO positions 2/2 or 2/1 rosters). In this role you will service repair and maintain a wide variety of light vehicles including popular models like Toyota Isuzu Ford Hiace and Commuter buses as well as additional site equipment such as forklifts EWPs and gensets.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Light Vehicle Mechanic/Fitter for our clients Workshop in Karratha.
- Locally based or FIFO positions 2/2 or 2/1
- Earn up to $65ph with salary sacrifice options available (casual and fulltime positions available)
- The applicant will be based at our Karratha workshop but will be required to travel to various Pilbara mining and construction locations
- The candidate will be required to service repair and maintain a wide variety of light vehicles including but not limited to Toyota Isuzu Ford Hiace and Commuter buses
- Additional site equipment may include forklifts EWPs and gensets

About You
You are a qualified and experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic/Fitter with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical faultfinding. You are a selfstarter motivated to work independently while managing your own jobs onsite. However you also work well as part of a team. You have excellent problemsolving abilities attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high safety standards.

Key Requirements
- Qualified and experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic
- Copy of relevant trade certificate
- Construction Card
- 2 years post trade essential
- HR driver s licence essential
- Must hold full Australian working rights
- Sound electrical and mechanical faultfinding experience
- Selfmotivated able to work unsupervised and manage own jobs especially when away on site but also can work as part of a team
- Committed to a high standard of safety
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Applicants must be able to pass police clearance and preemployment medical & drug screening
