Job Description

Our multinational client who provides hospitality services requires an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join their team. Reporting to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper you primarily support the planning and management of the daily operational activities on all floors and public areas ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness.


Responsibilities:
  • Lead and allocate responsibilities to the floor team members in an efficient manner for guests and cross functional departments receive prompt and courteous service.
  • Inspect public areas/floors/rooms to ensure furnishing facilities and equipment are clean and in good repair well maintained and replaced/refurnished as required to meet the business standards.
  • Coordinate with the other sections of the housekeeping department and the other departments on all relevant matters that affect the physical appearance of the hotel building and room status keep them informed and follow up on outstanding issues.
  • Support the Assistant Executive Housekeeper(s) in the recruitment management of performance identification of training need development of training plan and implementation of training.
  • Deliver monthly team training sessions to meet the identified training needs.
  • Schedule routine inspection by supervisors of all housekeeping areas including occupied and nonoccupied rooms.
  • Control usage of all amenities and cleaning supplies to ensure compliance to budget and ensure appropriate usage of equipment and tools.
  • Assists the Assistant Executive Housekeeper(s) in the monitoring of housekeeping procedures including lost items key control security and emergency procedures and Health and Safety for employees and guests.


Requirements

  • Must have at least HND in Hospitality Management or any related field.
  • Must have a minimum of two 2 years of working experience in a supervisory role in either housekeeping/property/facility management operations. 4*/5* star experience and advantage.
  • Ability to engage influence and build relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must have knowledge and experience in cleaning techniques housekeeping machines and knowledge in procedures and standards.
  • Excellent organizational problem solving team building planning communication (oral and written) leadership decision making and managerial skills.
  • Proficient level in computer skills (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) an advantage.
