Job Summary:
We are seeking a flexible and energetic Food Truck Helper to assist with daily operations. This role involves a variety of tasks including food preparation customer service and maintaining the cleanliness of the truck. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation including cooking wrapping and serving.
- Provide exceptional customer service by handling orders answering questions and resolving any issues promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the food truck adhering to health and safety standards.
- Help with inventory management and restocking supplies.
- Assist with setting up and tearing down the truck at events.
- Participate in promotional activities to engage customers and enhance brand visibility.
Requirements:
- Availability to work a flexible schedule typically between 1040 hours per week depending on events and demand.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor for excellent customer interaction.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from events/home base.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or a related field.
- Familiarity with cash handling and pointofsale systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
