Job Description
AECOM is seeking a disciplined and experienced Project Controls Manager for a Federal Client in the DC Metro Area. in our Arlington VA. The Project Controls Manager will support our Project and Program Management (PPM) Business Line. This is a future project and will depend on project win.
This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Lead the project controls function on a large and complex project
- Manages controls forecasting and reporting of cost and schedule performance for projects throughout a clients portfolio
- Lead cost and schedule positions in a formal meeting presentation or negotiation
- Participate in in client and/or subcontractor negotiations
- Tracking system to ensure that Project Management team is fully aware of detailed change order status
- Review construction cost estimates
- Oversee the production and maintenance of accurate project schedules
- Develop construction schedule including the creation of work breakdown structure
- Schedule critical path analysis resource loading and leveling
- Review schedule delays and conducts independent Time Impact Analysis (TIA) including both modeled and observational approaches
- Lead risk assessments including conducting risk interviews developing risk registers and calculating quantitative cost and schedule risk
- Lead standard operating procedures process workflows and program plans development
- Conduct root cause analysis
- Establish and maintain client relationships
- Participate in staffing decisions for projects
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Must have experience with Construction means methods and sequences understanding
Preferred Requirements
- CCM PMP PE RA CQM
- 5 years of experience in Federal
