This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the Campus Life leadership team as Manager Student Conduct Service.
The opportunity Te Whiwhinga mahi
The Manager Student Conduct Service plays a pivotal role in creating a safe inclusive and equitable environment at the University of Auckland. This role oversees the work of the Student Conduct Office to ensure timely and effective resolution of student conduct and discipline matters. The Manager leads investigations relating to student conduct and discipline often involving complex problems and highly sensitive issues.
The role advises academic and professional staff on student general misconduct including formal informal and alternative discipline and conflict resolution processes.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about creating a safe and equitable environment for students and can demonstrate significant experience in managing student conduct and discipline matters including sensitive and complex cases providing expert advice conducting investigations and working in discipline or regulatory matters and complaints.
You will bring strong skills in managing and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders applying policy and legal principles and working in a multistakeholder and multicultural environment.
Excellent communication skills both in person and in writing are crucial along with the ability to handle confidential information with diplomacy
