Job Description
Job Title: Sonographer General
Location: Valparaiso IN
Salary: $35.00/hour
Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
Job Overview:
Seeking a mobile Sonographer to provide diagnostic ultrasound services in nursing homes home care facilities and other healthcare settings. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekends or oncall requirements and requires the ability to work independently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process ultrasound exams using portable sonographic equipment
- Verify patient identity and ensure accurate exam orders
- Submit diagnostic images for Radiologist interpretation
- Communicate professionally with dispatch peers and clients
- Maintain equipment and complete daily documentation
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
- Participate in ongoing training and company meetings
