Our client in the Property Sector is looking to recruit a Temporary Accountant to join their large team. This role would be responsible for managing financial records preparing financial statements analyzing budgets and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Duties Include:
- Maintain and reconcile financial records including general ledger accounts bank statements and other financial documents.
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends variances and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes providing financial insights to support strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
- Collaborate with internal teams including finance operations and management to provide financial guidance and support decisionmaking.
- Conduct financial audits to verify accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and records.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and mitigate risk.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations standards and practices and ensure adherence to best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field
- Proven experience working in accounting or financial roles with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Property Experience Preferred
