Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Municipal Engineering Director to lead our Municipal Division in Rochester MN. This division reports directly to the CEO and oversees both the Building Official Department and the newly established Municipal Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in municipal design land development and project management along with a proven ability to foster client growth.

Skills
- Experience in civil engineering particularly as a municipal/city engineer
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Municipal Division ensuring project completion on time and within budget
- Drive growth within the Municipal Engineering Department through community relationships
- Collaborate closely with clients stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams for successful project outcomes
- Ensure all projects comply with local state and federal regulations and standards
- Attend local city council meetings as necessary
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required; must be able to obtain licensure in MN
- Demonstrated experience in municipal engineering and project management
- Proven track record of client relationship building and growth

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
