Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Municipal Engineering Director to lead our Municipal Division in Rochester MN. This division reports directly to the CEO and oversees both the Building Official Department and the newly established Municipal Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in municipal design land development and project management along with a proven ability to foster client growth.

  • Collaborate closely with clients stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams for successful project outcomes
  • Ensure all projects comply with local state and federal regulations and standards
  • Attend local city council meetings as necessary

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required; must be able to obtain licensure in MN
  • Demonstrated experience in municipal engineering and project management
  • Proven track record of client relationship building and growth

Education Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Experience Requirements

  • Relevant experience in civil engineering with a focus on municipal projects
  • Experience leading and managing engineering teams is a plus
