Job Description
The Electrician role at AAM in Three Rivers MI is a direct hire position where you will begin working on Day 1 with a focus on manufacturing equipment. Candidates must have a Journeymans card or possess 7 years of direct electrician experience in a manufacturing environment specifically working on machines not facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience in high voltage and medium voltage systems as well as familiarity with PLCs CNCs and troubleshooting electrical issues in an industrial setting.

Detailed Benefits and Perks
- Competitive hourly pay with a $1 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
- Overtime pay at 1.5x for hours over 40 and 2x for Sundays and holidays.

Compensation and Benefits
Pay: 40 an hour; Shift Premium: 1 for 2nd and 3rd shifts; Overtime: 1.5x for work over 40 hours and on Saturdays; 2x for Sundays and holidays. New employees may start on 2nd 2 PM 10 PM) or 3rd 10 PM 6 AM) shifts.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities: (Hiring Companies ATS Questions):
1. Do you have electricians with Journeymans card or 7 years of direct electrician experience.
2. Do you have experience in a manufacturing environment on manufacturing equipment NOT facilities maintenance.
3. Do you have experience industrial maintenance electrical maintenance high voltage (medium voltage) 480V 120V down to 24volt DC circuitry.
4. Do you have Electric work must be on machines in the manufacturing environment in any industry PLC experience Allen Bradley preferred Familiar with going through the parameters of Program Frequency Drives (controls engineers help with this but familiarity is important) AAM Three Rivers is a CNC Machining facility so having CNC experience would be preferred.
5. Do you have experience with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines preferred. Please note if candidates were heavier on PLCs and lighter on CNCs or vice versa it would be fine.
6. Are you experienced with PLCs CNCs Frequency Drives motors and associated circuity. Most importantly should be able to show examples of troubleshooting these items.
7. They will be exposed to but not limited to 24v DC 120v 277v and 480v circuits.
8. Troubleshooting can range from troubleshooting proximity switches light screens and safety circuits cables ethernet and communication issues motors drives relays etc.
9. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
