Life Enrichment Aide

Department:Sun Parlor Home

In A Nutshell:

As a member of the Life Enrichment Team the incumbent will be responsible for the development and provision of physiotherapy programs to individual residents as directed by the physiotherapist. The program design and provisions will be based on the identified needs of individual resident. The incumbent will be expected to interact closely with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate continuity of individualized programming. PTA/OTA also works closely with vendors for resident mobility equipment..

Day In the Life:

  • Provide physiotherapy support and instruction ensuring resident wellbeing as directed by the Physiotherapist
  • Document as appropriate according to Sun Parlor Home policies
  • Provide support to residents for ongoing support needs
  • Provide support for mobility equipment vendors
  • Set up assess and arrange for repairs to resident mobility equipment
  • Provide support to families and answer questions regarding physiotherapy and mobility needs

What We Are Looking For:

  • Completion 2 year community college diploma in Physiotherapy Assistant/Occupational Therapy Assistant

What We Are Offering

  • $25.98per hour
