Join our dedicated Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory (CMAAS) team where we unravel complex financial reporting issues and guide companies through pivotal moments ensuring compliance transparency and strategic advantage in an everchanging market landscape.
Were on the lookout for a dynamic IFRS & Capital Markets Senior Consultant who will bring value to our CMAAS team.
Your Impact
As an important contributor to our department you will:
Deliver toptier and solutionsoriented advisory services on IFRS accounting and reporting particularly during significant transactions like deals and capital raisings.
Guide our clients through the different steps of the project including project management assistance internal communication accounting technical advice inhouse training and handson practical assistance to the preparation of the IFRS reporting.
Participate in business development initiatives.
Be part of a recognised expert team and share our cumulative knowledge and experience with a range of prestigious international and Belgian clients.
Work in teams with PwC colleagues of other departments (transactions valuation tax and legal actuaries etc. to offer our clients integrated solutions that are relevant to their needs.
Have the opportunity to travel and work on international engagements and collaborate with colleagues abroad too.
About You
A masters degree in (Applied) Economics Finance Law or a comparable domain.
25 years of experience in accounting (or auditing) specifically with respect to Belgian GAAP and IFRS or capital markets.
Solid technical accounting skills coupled with an appetite in financial reporting challenges.
Strong people and communication skills.
An analytical and critical mindset.
A team player attitude you like to take initiatives and you are eager to learn.
Proficiency in either Dutch or French in addition to English is required. Experience with financial and/or nonfinancial (sustainability) reportingtools (Workiva Fluence Lucanet ... is an asset
