Job Description
Job Title: CNC/VMC Operator & CNC/VMC Operator Programmer
Job Summary
We are seeking skilled CNC/VMC Operators and CNC/VMC Operators Programmers for our gear manufacturing unit in Ekattuthangal Chennai. The ideal candidates should have handson experience in operating and programming CNC/VMC machines with a strong understanding of precision machining in the gear industry.
Positions & Requirements
1. CNC/VMC Operator Programmer
Experience: 24 years in CNC/VMC machine operation & programming
Salary: per month
Key Responsibilities:
Set up operate and program CNC/VMC machines for gear manufacturing.
Interpret technical drawings and Gcode programming.
Perform tool adjustments and ensure machining accuracy.
Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Monitor production quality and adhere to safety standards.
2. CNC/VMC Operator
Experience: 24 years in CNC/VMC machine operation
Salary: per month
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC/VMC machines for precision gear components.
Load/unload workpieces and perform basic machine settings.
Follow production schedules and maintain quality checks.
Assist in tool changes and minor troubleshooting.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
Common Requirements for Both Roles
Education: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or relevant certification.
Soft Skills:
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in shifts (if required).
Good communication and teamwork.
Requirements
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of CNC machining tooling and precision measurement instruments (micrometers verniers etc..
Familiarity with Fanuc/Siemens controls (preferred).
Basic understanding of gear manufacturing processes (advantage).
