Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical IT Specialist to join our team in Benin City Nigeria. As an IT Specialist you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our organizations IT infrastructure providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks.
- Install configure and maintain computer hardware software and network systems
- Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform regular system updates and security patches to protect against vulnerabilities
- Manage user accounts permissions and access rights
- Implement and maintain data backup and recovery systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex IT issues across various platforms
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement IT policies and procedures
- Monitor system performance and optimize where necessary
- Provide technical guidance and training to endusers on IT systems and applications
- Stay uptodate with emerging technologies and industry trends
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting
- Experience with hardware and software installation configuration and maintenance
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and implementation
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud
- Proficiency in IT service management tools like ServiceNow or JIRA
- Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell Python)
- Relevant IT certifications
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging IT trends
