Job Description

Job Summary
The Department of Modern Languages and Literature at Gonzaga University in Spokane Washington is seeking an instructor to teach elementary Italian language and culture courses using a communicative approach. The successful candidate will have the enthusiasm classroom presence and skills to engage students in their language learning and should be committed to pursuing excellence in teaching and promoting an inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will be fully responsible for course planning delivering class sessions creating and collecting assignments submitting grades and be available to students for office hours for one hour per week per course. Minimum Qualifications
MA ABD or PhD in Italian or related field. Experience teaching language and culture in a classroom setting. Advanced proficiency in Italian and English language.
