As a Benefits Intern you will assist our team in managing and improving employee benefits programs conducting research and ensuring smooth operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed work has an interest in employee wellbeing and thrives in a supportive and structured setting. This role is hybrid with twothree days in our Charlotte NC office.



This intern will be part of the program a paid fulltime 15week internship program for neurodivergent/autistic talent interested in enhancing their technical skills. From June 2nd September 12th 2025 interns will participate in an immersive handson experience at a leading global diversified media information and services company. This cohort will include interns at Hearst Television (WBAL WLWT and WPTZ) Fitch Ratings and Hearst Corporate. The reasonable estimate for this position is $3035/hour.



Responsibilities

  • Work with benefits team to administer employee benefits programs such as health insurance retirement plans and wellness initiatives.
  • Perform data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of benefits offerings.
  • Research industry trends and recommend enhancements to benefits programs.
  • Work with benefits team to prepare materials and resources to communicate benefits information clearly.
  • Participate in team meetings to share updates and contribute ideas.
  • Collaborate with a supervisor to tailor tasks and projects to your strengths and interests.
