Arable Farm Worker Warwickshire Basic Salary Circa 25000
Job Description:
We are seeking a General Farm Worker to join an Arable Farm in Warwickshire. The ideal candidate will have PA1 and PA2 certification as well as a Telehandler certificate. However full comprehensive training will be given to the right candidate.
The Candidate:
- Spraying crops using a selfpropelled or trailed sprayer.
- Carting grain from combine harvesters to storage areas.
- Undertaking cultivations using a range of machinery.
- Operating seed drills to establish crops.
- Spreading fertiliser using a variety of spreaders.
- Providing combine relief work during harvest.
- Operating a telehandler to move materials around the farm.
- Undertaking irrigation duties to ensure crops receive adequate water.
- Cutting hedges to maintain field boundaries.
- Any other ad hoc work as and when required.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working on an arable farm and will be comfortable operating a range of machinery. They will be able to work independently or as part of a team and will have a flexible attitude to working hours.
The Package:
Although there is no accommodation provided with this role the successful candidate will benefit from a competitive salary of up to 25k per annum.
