Machine Adjuster 2nd & 3rd Shifts Multiple Positions

Cincinnati OH
Pay: $17.50 to $23.83 plus $.25/hr. 2nd shift differential or $.35/hr. 3rd shift differential
Fulltime
Role Responsibilities:
- Performs daily machine maintenance change overs setup adjustment of machines ink changes paper changes and inserts window film die and plate into machine.
- Troubleshoots minor operating difficulties including analyzing machine operations inspection of product making necessary mechanical adjustments and repairs to eliminate quality variations and mechanical malfunctions.
- Operate machines efficiently and obtain supplies such as ink and adhesive.
- Examines job orders reads and interprets specifications and reviews sample and shipping instructions.
- Checks orders throughout production to ensure accuracy of labeling printing and packaging.
- Inspects product quality according to quality guidelines and completes quality checks for envelope size shape window gum seal side seem and color print.
- Accurately completes paperwork to record labor time and quality and maintenance logs.
- Packs envelopes uniformly and neatly into completed containers while keeping up with machine speeds.
- Oversees accurate count of envelopes into cartons and on skids.
- Maintains a neat and orderly work area a performs machine washup and other general cleaning duties.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years Machine Adjuster or SetUp Operator experience on or solid experience within a similar position.
- Strong Analytical skills including the ability to review machine operations inspect products troubleshoot mechanical issues and make adjustments and repairs to eliminate quality variations and mechanical malfunctions.
- Possess a mechanical aptitude and the ability to read a ruler and calculate basic mathematical skills.
- Enjoys hands on work troubleshooting mechanical problems problem solving.
- Effective communication skills.
- Enjoys working in a Team Environment and ability to work independently.
- Envelope Industry preferred but not required.
Physical Demands
Ability to stand for the approximate duration of the scheduled shift (minus paid lunch and breaks) lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally repetitive grasping frequent twisting lifting above shoulder height occasional bend reach crouch or stoop. Sensory requirements are tactile/touch with hands and digits near and far visual acuity color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The open positions are for our 2nd 3:00pm to 11:00pm) and 3rd 11:00pm to 7:00am) shift Monday through Friday with Overtime on Saturdays. There will be some initial training on our 1st shift to accustom you to our everyday operations.
