Job Description:

We are now looking for an experienced hardware designer for an exciting consulting assignment with our client in advanced technical development. If you have a strong background in digital electronics mixed signal and a desire to take responsibility from concept to finished product this could be the right assignment for you!

Key Responsibilities:

You will be part of a team developing advanced digital circuit boards for future computer platforms. Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting concept studies and research on future solutions and architectures.
• Participating in requirement breakdown and specification of designs and systems.
• Performing detailed design through simulation component selection and schematic design.
• Developing and reviewing production documentation.
• Testing and verifying performance in the lab.
• Troubleshooting and supporting product integration.

Requirements:

• Experience in detailed design of digital electronics including SoC/FPGA and DDR memory.
• Knowledge of mixed signal design (ADC/DAC).
• Experience with circuit board design development tools such as Cadence or Siemens.
• Experience with simulation tools such as Hyperlynx.
• Experience with modern measurement instruments for testing and integration.
• Bachelors or Masters degree preferably in Electrical Engineering or Embedded Systems.
• Good understanding of processes and quality.
• Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Swedish.

Meritorious:

• Circuits and tools from AMD (previously Xilinx).
• Programming for control and data processing in for example Matlab.
• Optical transceivers and links.
• Other electronics fields such as RF analog or power electronics.
