THE OPPORTUNITY
Our New Orleans retailshop is seeking a Store Director tolead our sales team towards achieving individual and collective shop salestargets. The ideal candidate will enjoy coaching and developing a sales forcewhile overseeing day to day operations of the retail environment. They will bea bigpicture thinker with a positive attitude and an aptitudetowards hospitality. This individual will approach everyday with a proactivemindset and will truly take ownership of the shops success.
Initial Responsibilities
Implement all Retail direction instores including but not limited to the following areas:
Selling Culture
Merch Guidelines
Markdowns & Promos
National & Local Events
Utilize key reports to drive storeactions on a daily/weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual scale
Create store schedule to supportbusiness needs
Support Marketing events andcontribute to local collaborations
Ensure all administrativeresponsibilities are handled in an efficient & timely manner. (HR FINANCEINVENTORY PROCESSES)
Continuously collaborate with Headof Store Experience & Inventory & Head of Visual to ensure roll out ofkey strategies
Ensure store is operating incompliance with all Billy Reid policies
Meet & Exceed sale plans bytraining motivating mentoring and providing feedback to sale staff
Improve conversion rate in storewith a goal of a 12 improvement year over year
Attract hire develop and retainthe best team to meet both short and longterm business goals.
Set 1 on 1s at the end of eachpay period to discuss individual team performance and goals.
Build a clientele driven businessrooted in developing relationships to support repeat business.
Ensure all stores are capturingmanaging & following up with all customers profiles
Ensure all employees Follow Upwith their customers in a meaningful & timely manner.
Maintain a keen awareness of theexternal market and competition
Support omni channel initiativesincluding but not limited to web order fulfillment and email opt in
