Job Description

Lundgren Dodge/Ram Audi Rutland & VW ofRutland are growing and has the need to add an experienced parts department counter person to our team.Lundgren Rutlands parts department is very progressive focused on growth through excellent customer satisfactionselling parts in retail wholesale and internet environments. We are seeking someone with experience working in the automotive parts or related field.

Lundgren Rutland is a family owned and operated dealer that has been in business for over 60 years. Our entire dealer staff operates in a collaborative manner. We are passionate about cars & trucks and it shows in the enthusiasm with our current staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the parts sales process from start to finish.

  • Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Converse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts status.

  • Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts.

  • Answer phone calls provide price quotes and other information to customers.

  • Review body shop estimates to verify the parts ordered are correct and that all pricing is in line with the estimate.

  • Provide highlevel service to both internal and external customers.

  • Pull/fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks to ensure the accuracy of stock.

  • Notify the site manager of outofstock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.

  • Locate outofstock parts from outside sources and submit an emergency order if necessary.

  • Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on the service repair order.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Be able to lift and move objects up to 50lbs safely and comfortably.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Computer proficiency.
  • Prior auto parts sales experience. (or related field)

  • Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.

  • Pass a criminal background check.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts for the purpose of quoting and selling.

  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record. (checked and verified)
