Now Hiring: FullTime LBS1 Education Specialist (Resource Room Setting)
Location: Homewood Illinois
Start Date:Academic School Year
Our organization is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a fulltime position in the upcoming academic year. This role offers guaranteed hours throughout the school year with the potential for renewal based on performance.
As an Exceptional Needs Educator you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students with diverse learning needs in a selfcontained classroom. You will work collaboratively with parents caregivers and fellow educators to create effective strategies that support each students unique challenges. Additionally participation in districtsponsored professional development will be encouraged to enhance your skills and expertise in the field.
Requirements
All applicants must have a strong background as a Special Education Teacher or in a related role demonstrating experience managing diverse caseloads. A bachelor s degree from an accredited institution is required with a master s degree preferred. Candidates must possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement in special education as no other certifications will be considered.
