Description
Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs of dieselpowered yard spotter trucks. You will be tasked with making mechanical hydraulic engine chassis and electrical repairs on diesel powered yard spotter trucks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines
- Determine parts & tools necessary for mechanical hydraulic and electrical repairs
- Complete service paperwork while maintaining efficiency
- Maintain a safe clean work area
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections in shop and on site mobile
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED certificate
- 2 Years verifiable experience with H.D. Diesel trucks or equipment
- Will train someone with automotive experience
- Manual dexterity able to lift heavy objects
- Welding Experience preferred not required
- Annual DOT inspection experience preferred not required
- Ability to work in the elements when needed
