Meineke Car Care in Salisbury MD is seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and handson experience in automotive repair and maintenance with knowledge on a variety of makes of vehicles. This role requires a commitment to delivering excellent customer service while ensuring that vehicles are repaired efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair automotive mechanical/electrical systems ensuring all components function properly.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes tire rotations and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to conduct repairs and alignments on various vehicle types.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with Sales Associates to explain repairs needed and provide recommendations for vehicle maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of all service requests.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems is essential.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- A valid drivers license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are a plus.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- ASE certification is preferred
- Advanced understanding of automotive systems and components.
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment used in automotive repair.
- Ability to follow instructions work effectively in a team environment and uphold Meinekes commitment to highquality work.
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).

Compensation: $70000.00 $100000.00 per year
