The Opportunity

Our Lysaght business is looking for a Production Team Member to join the Production Team based in Canberra. Made in Australia since 1921 Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes to large commercial and industrial projects.

What Will You Do

In a supportive team environment youll receive ongoing training to learn how to:

• promote and maintain a safe working environment
• ensure quality control by packing strapping and monitoring our steel products
• drive forklifts and operate cranes to load and unload trucks for customer delivery
• operate machinery for product processing

More About You

Previous operations or manufacturing experience is not required what we care about is your enthusiasm to learn new skills and to go above and beyond for your fellow team members. Were looking for individuals who:

What Will You Do

Providing tailored solutions to our customers youll also be:

• interacting with our customers via phone email and face to face to manage a variety of enquiries 
• preparing and following up customer quotes entering and managing customer orders whilst supporting our sales teams
• coordinating and managing the endtoend logistics process including compliance with any requirements and regulations updating all necessary systems that manage orders
• managing the relationship with logistics and internal stakeholders and working together to improve cost efficiencies resolving issues and seeking ways to improve the customers experience
