Job Description
Lumino Sanctuary Botany Dental in East Auckland is seeking a very experienced dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team on a Fulltime basis.
In this role you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary instruments and materials are readily available
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures including cleanings fillings root canal treatments and surgical extractions
- Provide chairside assistance and knowledge of dental instruments suctioning and maintaining a clean and organised surgery
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment information
- Sterilise and disinfect dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols
- Greet and assist patients ensuring a positive and comfortable experience
- Maintain inventory levels and stock surgery as necessary
Qualifications :
- 23 years experience as a Dental assistant preferred and/or completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Knowledge of dental procedures terminology and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and dental staff
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage various responsibilities
- Proficiency in using Exact dental software and professional phone manner
- Ability to work well in a team environment and provide exceptional patient care
