The Clubhouse Supervisor provides management of rehabilitative and clinical services to adult mental health individuals in a clubhouse setting based on standards of psychosocial and rehabilitation as defined in the Michigan Mental Health Code Medicaid Manual OCHN and Clubhouse International.
Compensation Range:
The starting pay for this position is $49300 $58000 and is based on nondiscriminatory factors such as skills and experience.

Essential Functions
- Maintains Clubhouse International accreditation which includes organizing site visits and maintaining communication with both Michiganbased and International Clubhouse organizations.
- Interprets and applies the Michigan Mental Health Code to Clubhouse operations.
- Travels offsite with Clubhouse members for various programming opportunities.
- Attends meetings and conferences as appropriate.
- Ensures clubhouse program is operated in compliance with accrediting and funding body such as OCHN Michigan Department of Community Health and CARF.
- Prepares and submits required reports to various funding and administrative bodies.
- Prepares grant requests and participates in special projects.
- Provides direct services onsite crisis intervention onsite case management and direct transportation services as required.
- Utilizes a traumainformed approach to deliver services.
- Oversees maintenance of building site and vehicles assuring all safety and security regulations and policies are enforced.
- Monitors revenues and expenditures in accordance with budget allocations.
- Maintains necessary financial records.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Provides daily oversight of Clubhouse staff and operations to the standards of CARF and Clubhouse International.
- Completes employee evaluations as required including examples of behavior ways for employees to improve performance and development of goals for the coming year.
- Monitors work schedules of staff and adhere to human resource policies and procedures relative to the attendance policy keeping accurate attendance records and noting any verbal/written warnings in annual evaluation.
- Approves staff mileage timesheets and paid time off in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelors Degree in social work with two years experience with serious mental illness.
- Valid Michigan Drivers License.
- Reliable transportation and current proof of auto insurance.
- Ability to communicate effectively professionally and courteously.
- Ability to use discretion and judgment when handling matters of a sensitive or confidential nature Advanced time management problemsolving customer service interpersonal collaboration crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to be forward thinking and take initiative to accomplish goals and objectives of the department
- Intermediate level experience with computers and Microsoft office products
- Working knowledge of applicable Federal State and Local laws and regulations the CNS Corporate Compliance Program CNS Code of Ethics as well as other policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of principles of psychosocial rehabilitation.
- Ability to understand and demonstrate personal value of cultural and ethnic differences their alternative perspectives lifestyles etc.
- Prior experience with Budgeting and resource management.
- Strong understanding of the Michigan Mental Health Code and Recipient Rights.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience
- Masters degree in social work or human services field one year experience with adults with serious mental illness and has appropriate licensure.
- Licensure LBSW if the bachelors degree is in social work; LMSW LLP or LPC for the masters degree in human services.
- 1 year experience working with a Clubhouse Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program preferred.
- National Certification as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) preferred or obtained within one year of hire date.
