ManpowerGroup Greece on behalf of its client is looking for Warehouse Logistics Assistant.
Location: Volos
Working Model: Onsite
You will be reporting to: Warehouse Logistics Manager
What you will do:
The ideal candidate will support warehouse operations ensuring efficiency in material handling inventory management and logistics activities. As a Warehouse Logistics Assistant you will play a key role in maintaining smooth warehouse functions and ensuring compliance with company standards.
More specifically:
- Participate in the reception inspection storage and distribution of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock control.
- Monitor warehouse capacity and contribute to optimizing storage solutions.
- Support warehouse operations to ensure production deadlines are met.
- Assist with inbound and outbound logistics to facilitate timely deliveries.
- Oversee material transfers between the warehouse and production line.
- Ensure proper documentation of shipments receipts and stock transfers.
- Input and update inventory and logistics data in SAP or other relevant databases.
- Maintain accurate tracking of stock movements.
- Assist in task allocation and supervision of warehouse operations.
- Promote compliance with workplace safety cleanliness and organizational standards.
- Facilitate effective communication between logistics production and quality departments.
Requirements
- Certificate of Higher Education or equivalent in Logistics Supply Chain or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics processes.
- Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems and MS Office (Excel Word Outlook).
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of English (Spanish is a plus).
