Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver a comprehensive Career Education curriculum for Grades 9 to 12.
Guide students in exploring various career options and planning their educational and professional futures.
Facilitate workshops guest speaker sessions and field trips to enhance career learning experiences.
Provide individualized support and mentorship to students in career planning and skill development.
Collaborate with colleagues support staff and parents to enhance student learning and career readiness.
Maintain uptodate knowledge of labor market trends and postsecondary education opportunities.
Qualifications:
Certified to teach in British Columbia.
Experience teaching Career Education or related subjects at the secondary level is preferred.
Strong understanding of career development theories and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
