Job Description

Hiring Travel Physical Therapists (PT) Premium Rates!

Are you a compassionate and skilled PT looking to make a real difference in the lives of patients Join BAYADA as a Travel PT where youll play a crucial role in setting the stage for successful patient care safe transitions and positive outcomes for our patients.

Join our team of travel PTs where you can build the flexible schedule that works for you! Weekends weekdays evenings we will work with your availability.

This position is a 13week commitment (with option to extend) that allows you the flexibility to work a minimum of two and up to five days a week doing home health.

We provide a premium rate differential plus mileage reimbursement.

As a Travel PT with BAYADA at BAYADA you will:

  • Perform diagnostic tests and measurements such as the mobility/range of joints transfer status stability patterns and appearance of ambulation strength and endurance of muscles balance testing and safety assessments.
  • Develop and implement appropriate individualized care plans including manual therapeutic exercises gait training balance and other interventions.
  • Continually assess and revise the Physical Therapy PT care plan and participate with nursing in the multidisciplinary care plan as appropriate.
  • Educate and instruct clients family members or other client representatives in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the clients health safety and independent living.
  • Accurately document observations interventions and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided utilizing a stateoftheart touch pad tablet.
  • Implement integumentary protective interventions to prevent wound formation and promote wound repair utilizing evidencebased dressings and topical agents

Requirements:

  • Active and current license to practice as a professional Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of VT.
  • Previous home health experience required.
  • Must commit to a 13week assignment.
  • OASIS experience required; previous HCHB experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel throughout the region based on our census.
  • Ability to deliver patient care with compassion excellence and reliability.

Compensation:

  • Premium compensation based on experience and type of visit
