The Elevator Pitch

Join our team at Evolv and play a critical role in transforming school safety across the Western sales region. As a key connector between Account Executives and the complex school procurement landscape the Education Specialist will interact directly with school leaders to activate the region raise brand and product awareness and pursue strategic education initiatives in the West.

Your mission is to navigate the intricate web of school buying processes making Evolv an accessible and preferred choice in safety solutions. Through education enablement and regionspecific strategies youll overcome the challenges of engaging with diverse school decisionmakers ensuring our product suite is universally known and accessible. Your insights will streamline our sales approach making the process of buying and selling Evolv more efficient and effective. You will work hand in hand with the National Education Manager to ensure continuity across the country and synergy in our efforts to serve all schools.

Success in the Role: What are performance outcomes over the first 612 months you will work toward completing

In the first 30 days you will:

  • Participate in our new hire orientation
  • Forge strong relationships with National Education Manger the West Region Sales Director and West region Account Executives laying the groundwork for collaborative success.
  • Initiate meetings to grasp the unique political and safety climate ensuring tailored approaches.
  • Propose innovative strategies to invigorate K12 sales on a national scale.

Within 3 months you will:

  • Successfully implement strategic plans for the West region demonstrating adaptability and impact.
  • Enhance school engagement ensuring our safety solutions are topofmind and accessible.
  • Elevate confidence among AEs empowering them with the knowledge and tactics to navigate the school sales landscape effectively.
  • Achieve strategic cohesion across regions ensuring a unified and robust approach to our school strategy.

By the end of the first year you will:

  • Establish a regular effective communication cadence with each Area Executive and the West Region Sales Director becoming a trusted advisor and strategist.
  • Cultivate enduring partnerships with every Area Executive marked by frequent interactions for deal assistance and strategic planning.
  • Translate new salesenergizing ideas into tangible actions boosting growth and presence in the K12 sector as measured by pipeline growth and closed deals.

Team Engagement:

  • Excel in fostering collaborative relationships with Account Executives ensuring open communication and a cohesive approach to meeting region needs and objectives.

Leadership:

  • Demonstrate the ability to lead by example guiding and inspiring team members through the complexities of the school sales process and strategizing for success in the K12 space.

Innovation:

  • Bring forwardthinking ideas to the table continuously seeking and implementing creative strategies to energize K12 sales and ensure Evolvs solutions and value stand out in the education sector.

Strategy Development:

  • Show proficiency in crafting and executing detailed regionspecific strategies that align with our organizational initiatives ensuring a tailored approach to the West regions unique safety climate and political landscape.

Education:

  • Possess a deep understanding of the education sector including the nuances of school procurement processes and the dynamics of decisionmaking in educational institutions.

Customer Acquisition:

  • Excel in identifying and engaging potential school clients leveraging your understanding of the education sector to meet their specific needs and drive the adoption of Evolvs safety solutions.

Brand Awareness in Education Vertical:

  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to enhance Evolvs visibility and reputation within the education vertical ensuring that our brand is synonymous with innovation reliability and commitment to school safety.

What is the leadership like for this role What is the structure and culture of the team

You will be joining the Education Vertical sales team in our Revenue organization and reporting directly to the VP of Education. Our team culture is based on building trust collaboration ongoing development through kindness authenticity courage drive and fun!

Where is the role located

Our ideal candidate is based in Los Angeles CA. We are open to candidates based in near any major transportation hubs throughout the West Coast region of the United States. Candidates will have the flexibility to work from home but should expect to travel no less than 30 of the time throughout the greater West Coast region.

What is the salary range

The base salary range for this fulltime position is $100000 $120000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including jobrelated skills experience and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Masters preferred
  • K12 school or district level leadership preferred
  • Sales and/or business development experience preferred
  • Safety background or security experience preferred
