We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Server Engineer to join our Unity game development team. As a Senior Server Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining the serverside infrastructure and services for our Unitybased game. The ideal candidate has a strong background in serverside development a deep understanding of networking protocols and experience in Unity game development.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Server Engineer in Unity game development with at least 5 years of serverside development experience.
Strong proficiency in serverside programming languages such as Node.js.
Extensive experience with backend technologies and frameworks such as Node.js postgres and redis.
Deep understanding of networking protocols clientserver architectures and serverauthoritative game logic.
Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs web services and distributed systems.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud and knowledge of serverless architecture.
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB or Redis.
Solid understanding of software development principles version control systems and agile methodologies.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to debug and resolve complex serverrelated issues.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain serverside infrastructure and services for games ensuring scalability performance and reliability.
Collaborate with game developers to understand game design requirements and implement serverside features and functionalities.
Develop and integrate APIs plugins and thirdparty services for authentication cloud storage analytics and other serverrelated functionality.
Optimize server performance including database queries network communication and overall server load.
Collaborate with network engineers to ensure secure and efficient data transfer between game clients and servers.
Debug and troubleshoot serverrelated issues identify performance bottlenecks and implement necessary optimizations.
Stay up to date with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in serverside development and Unity game development.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers helping them develop their skills and knowledge in game development.
