Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to spearhead the design and of large healthcare projects ensuring compliance with California OSHPD regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electrical systems design project leadership and a deep understanding of healthcare infrastructure requirements with a focus on groundup construction projects. This role will manage a team of three designers and engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of electrical systems for largescale healthcare facilities.
Ensure compliance with California OSHPD standards and regulations.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects mechanical engineers and contractors.
Oversee project timelines budgets and deliverables.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and design staff.
Manage a team of three designers and engineers providing leadership and technical direction.
Perform electrical system analysis including power distribution lighting and emergency power systems.
Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
Communicate effectively with clients regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in California.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering design with at least 5 years focused on healthcare projects.
Proven experience leading OSHPDregulated projects.
Demonstrated experience with groundup construction projects.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
Strong understanding of healthcare facility power distribution lighting and critical systems.
Excellent project management and leadership skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with energy efficiency and sustainable design practices.
Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary of $150000 annually.
Annual bonus of 20 of salary equaling $30000.
