Position Summary
Were looking for Food Truck Drivers to join our team at Jerk at Nite! As a Food Truck Driver you will be responsible for driving setting up and operating the food truck at various locations and events while ensuring a smooth efficient and highquality service. Youll play a key role in transporting and preparing food maintaining cleanliness and interacting with customers to provide an exceptional dining experience. If you have a clean driving record experience in food service and a passion for great food this role is for you!

When latenight food options on Howard Universitys campus failed to meet the needs of students pulling allnighters working on projects and attending campus events Jerk at Nite stepped in to fill the gap. We believe that authentic hearty and healthconscious food should be available at any hour not just pizza fast food or takeout loaded with preservatives.
Thats why we serve Jamaicaninfused dishes with an exotic mix of Mexican and American soul food flavors offering a better bolder and healthier latenight alternative. As we continue to grow were looking for Food Truck Drivers to help us bring our flavors to more locations keeping operations running efficiently and safely.

Position Responsibilities
PEOPLE: Customer Service & Teamwork
Drive the food truck safely to various locations and events
Greet customers and provide friendly professional service
Take customer orders process payments and ensure timely order delivery
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and team members to keep service smooth
PRODUCTS: Food Prep & Quality Control
Assist with food preparation grilling and assembling dishes as needed
Ensure food is served hot fresh and according to Jerk at Nite standards
Maintain proper storage and handling of ingredients and supplies
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure food quality
PLACE: Cleanliness & Organization
Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the food trucks kitchen and serving areas
Set up and break down cooking stations and service areas at each location
Ensure all equipment utensils and supplies are in working order
Manage trash disposal and keep the food truck organized and tidy
PROFIT: Efficiency & Cost Control
Monitor food inventory and supplies restocking as needed
Minimize food waste and follow portion control guidelines
Track fuel mileage and maintenance needs to ensure cost efficiency
Work with management to coordinate events permits and schedules
What Were Looking For
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (CDL not required but preferred)
Previous experience in food service food trucks or restaurant kitchens preferred
Ability to drive park and operate a food truck safely
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Must be available for flexible hours including nights weekends and special events
Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation regulations
