We are looking for a talented Middle 2D Artist to join our team and create outstanding 2D concepts and illustrations of characters environments and backgrounds for worldclass games. The person in this role will work closely with the 2D Art Lead and Senior Artists delivering exceptional quality assets and maintaining visual style consistency.
The position involves different types of collaboration of your choice: remotely inhouse or on a freelance basis.
Responsibilities:
- Create art in a realistic style from start concept to implementation in the game
- Excellent understanding of human anatomy
- Experience in drawing realistic portraits
- Create character concepts
- Quick sketching methods and great rendering skills
- Photobash
- Receive and implement feedback thoughtfully
- Meeting project deadlines/milestones.
Requirements:
- 1.5 years of industry experience
- Excellent understanding of Photoshop
- Ability to create highly polished game assets and marketing materials
- Strong knowledge of color theory composition and lighting
- Ability to take direction and accept critical review of your work
- Exceptional portfolio with illustrations and concept art
Good to have:
- English language skills at the intermediate level or higher
- Experience in 3D graphic software
- Passion for games
- Familiarity with AI services such as Stable Diffusion Midjourney and Leonardo is an advantage
