Job Description
Client Name: City of New York
Start Date: August 2024
End Date: August 2025
Contract Length (in weeks): 52
- Work with subject matter experts and project managers to ensure delivery of desired functionality requirements and interoperability of the system of systems.
- Design and architect integration solutions for NG911 systems to ensure interoperability and seamless communication between different components.
- Ensure stable enterprise system of systems architecture by following engineering and architectural best practices.
- Lead the implementation of integration solutions including configuring middleware developing APIs and setting up communication protocols
- Lead comprehensive end to end testing discussions provide test cases for SAT and SIT and identify areas for automation and scripting wherever possible.
- Review test results for accuracy validate against architectural deliverables.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess a Bachelors degree with no less than 12 years in Enterprise Architecture Infrastructure Engineering within PS environment
- Excellent technical architecture skills enabling the creation of future proof public safety solutions
- Experience building and supporting mission critical infrastructure for critical applications running in a highly distributed manner.
- Experience in largescale integration efforts involving multiple technologies virtual infrastructures enduser agencies and/or contractors;
- Experience with SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and RTP (RealTime Protocol).
- Experience with Monitoring tools withing NG911 systems
- Min 12 yrs experience in a particular technical and/or business application product platform methodology or skill set.
- Knowledge of system integration techniques and the ability to design systems that work seamlessly with existing infrastructure
- Strong written and oral communication skills as well as presentation and facilitation skills;
- Subject Matter Expert of Enterprise Integration for multiple complex applications within Public Safety domain;
- Indepth knowledge and expertise in various technology stacks platforms and architectures.Proficiency in system design principles software architecture and understanding of hardware components.
