You will be the Quality floor leader providing leadership and strategy for response and resolution to daily production floor quality issues across 16 assembly lines. Youll manage the quality floor team as well as related improvement projects and processes across three shifts.

How Youll Create Possibilities
- Lead and develop a quality team of salary and hourly (Currently 3 Salaried Product Quality Leaders (PQL) and 11 Quality Technicians (QT). Supervise quality technicians by partnering with site Human Resources group to ensure fair and consistent administration of the following policies and procedures: rules of conduct attendance control system disqualification process (medical and performance) area training matrix overtime procedures time cards payroll and accident investigations.
- Manage Quality Floor team. Establish and monitor goals & metrics for each team. Expand capabilities of hourly QTs to include problem solving in addition to their current responsibilities.
- Monitor reliability testing product auditing and s data. Escalate issues as needed.
- Reduce End of Line Audit (EOLA) findings/red lights. Lower EOLA parts per million (PPM) score through continuous improvement projects by working closely with assembly fabrication engineering and shop operations.
- Resolve escalated floor & field issues. Coordinate quality manufacturing design PMQE & technology team resources to drive solutions. Ensure control plans resolve issues.
- Provide first response to highest level quality issues.
- Facilitate track and ensure closure of all corrective actions/preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Manage implementation of new Quality System Procedures within the plant as it applies to the Quality Floor Team. Ensure testing and repairs are performed according to the MCP/MCI/visual standards and data collected as prescribed.
- Drive Manufacturing Control Plan (MCP) strategy ensuring compliance metrics action plans & continuous improvement. Validate MCPs are being followed review MCPs for discrepancies and facilitate resolution.
- Communicate quality issues and root cause/corrective action plans for critical defects raised during daily production and escalation meetings.
- Review and schedule overall product testing (EOLA PLT/RLT Ship test etc. for trends and issues. Coordinate quality manufacturing supplier quality & technology resources to drive solutions.
- Analyze s reports to make sure theyre entered and to identify things that need to be addressed.
- Procure materials/equipment for quality related preventive maintenance/projects. Create and modify preventive maintenance (PM) work orders to ensure fixtures/gauges meet the desired quality levels.
- Provide strategy and plan for overall quality data management for the facility.
- Core member of the Manifest steering committee. Guide the shop to ensure consistent nomenclature and documentation.
- Coordinate color harmony strategy. Maintain/upgrade the color harmony room as required. Color expert for Roper Corporation.
What Youll Bring to Our Team
- 35 years: Direct supervision of employees
- Bachelors or higher in Engineering or related field.
- Proven leadership experience in the definition design implementation and troubleshooting of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a crossfunctional team environment with both salaried and hourly personnel to meet the needs of the operators the program and the business.
- Significant experience in manufacturing plant environment.
