Job Description
Perform various maintenance tasks and trouble shooting on a variety of equipment such as; SemiTractors front end loaders motor graders skid steers milling equipment street brooms crushing and mining equipment etc.
Diagnose and repair; engine transmission a/c systems hydraulic systems drive lines differentials electrical systems etc.
Comply with company safety policies.
Complete work orders check lists and maintain proper maintenance records.
Complete DOT inspections and make proper repairs if issues are found.
Ability to be a self starter and self managed a must willingness to help others is a must.
Communicate to supervisor if repairs cannot be made in a standard amount of time.
Make sound financial decisions when ordering parts or supplies.
Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns as needed.
Must be able to lift heavy objects as needed job environment is in a shop or outside of shop on jobsite ability to work in varying weather conditions a must.
Position is MF hours 7 am to 6 pm some emergency breakdowns or work loads could vary those hours. Some Saturdays may be necessary.
