Job Description
NSB Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking Landscape Architects at various levels to join a wellestablished and growing planning and environmental consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of projects with a particular focus on the renewables sector.
The successful candidates will have the chance to work within a collaborative and supportive environment benefitting from ongoing mentoring and professional development. You will be given the autonomy to manage projects independently while also working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee landscaperelated work within the company
- Provide line management support where required
- Undertake Landscape and Visual Assessments (LVAs)
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Offer landscape design guidance relating to LVAs and LVIAs
- Assist in the production of Landscape Plans
- Conduct site visits and photography
- Liaise with clients local authorities and statutory consultees
Essential Requirements
- Degree qualified in Landscape Architecture (UK)
- Strong technical skills and understanding of LVA/LVIA processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound knowledge of UK planning legislation
- Proficiency in GIS and design software such as SketchUp
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards
- Full UK driving licence and access to own transport
- Flexibility to travel when required
- Eligibility to work in the UK
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar consultancy setting
- Chartered status or working towards chartership
- Proven LVA and LVIA expertise
- Experience in bid preparation
