Job Description
Our client is a small reputable structural engineering firm specializing in formwork design and inspection for many highrise / highprofile concrete structures in the Southeast.
We are looking for a Formwork Engineer / Shoring Engineer for the Orlando FL office to assist with shoring designs and calculations. The candidate will also perform on site shoring inspections to ensure the correct installation and conformance with the design drawings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering PE a plus.
- Experience working in AutoCAD
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of basic construction practices
Additional information on the position/company:
We support design and inspections primarily for new construction forming and shoring but we do also assist with some demo/remodel work of existing structures. In Florida shoring inspections are required prior to each concrete placement so we get very busy with inspections.
