Commoditas is partnering with a prestigious energy trading firm in London to find a talented Application Support Specialist. This critical role involves maintaining and protecting the production environment of their advanced energy trading and risk systems including Openlink Endur Credit Cube and Datagenic. Join a dynamic team and ensure these systems operate seamlessly to meet business expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and functional support for ITmanaged applications to investigate and resolve production issues.
- Log and manage incidents through to resolution ensuring proactive communication and regular reporting to end users.
- Escalate issues to thirdline support (internal and external) and ensure their resolution.
- Understand and meet the service level agreements (SLAs) for each system.
- Manage releases and changes ensuring they are documented and have sufficient rollback plans.
- Develop infrastructure processes and procedures to enhance production support quality.
- Ensure new software support is clearly defined and adequately handed over from delivery projects.
- Develop and maintain documentation for resolving key software issues refining it continuously as the product integrates into production use.
- Manage endofday application processes.
- Enter approved master data into systems for specific applications following business approval.
- Provide support for disaster recovery environment failover when required.
Skills Experience & Competencies
- Indepth knowledge of ETRM systems ideally including Openlink Endur and/or Planlogic EoS.
- Understanding of core trading processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team and drive improvements.
- Adaptability to manage changing business priorities set realistic expectations and deliver on them.
