You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Director of Admission Operations plays a critical leadership role in shaping the Universitys enrollment success. This position oversees all facets of admission operations ensuring seamless processes data integrity and effective use of technology to support recruitment application management and strategic decisionmaking. The Director serves as the primary architect and manager of the CRM system optimizing its use to enhance engagement streamline workflows and drive datainformed recruitment strategies. This position reports to the Vice President of Enrollment and has a strong relationship with the Director of Institutional Research.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Operational Oversight
Lead and manage the admissions operations team including application processing and data integrity.
Serve as the primary decisionmaker for the CRM system ensuring seamless integration functionality and optimization for recruitment and admission.
Develop and implement innovative processes to enhance efficiency accuracy and effectiveness across admission operations.
Act as the liaison between admissions ITS institutional research marketing alumni and other key stakeholders to align technology and recruitment strategies with institutional goals.
Ensure compliance with federal state and institutional policies related to admissions enrollment data and student communications.
Technology & CRM Management
Oversee the design implementation and ongoing refinement of the CRM to support undergraduate and graduate admissions.
Develop CRM workflows automation reporting structures and data imports to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
Provide ongoing training documentation and support to admissions staff and other stakeholders using the CRM.
Manage the integration and data flow between the CRM ERP and thirdparty platforms ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Identify and implement new CRM components and enrollment technologies to maintain a competitive edge in recruitment and yield strategies.
Data Analytics & Reporting
Institutional Research Support:
Assist with enrollment projections retention studies and student success metrics.
Provide data to support accreditation and external reporting requirements.
Help automate and improve datasharing processes between Admissions and IRE.
Data Governance & Reporting:
Work with IRE to standardize data definitions and reporting methodologies.
Ensure consistency between Admissions Financial Aid and Institutional Research data sets.
Support dashboard development for University leadership.
Develop and manage key enrollment reports including recruitment performance application trends and yield analysis.
Extract and analyze data to inform admission strategies identify trends and improve conversion rates.
Lead data integrity initiatives ensuring clean accurate and actionable information for strategic decisionmaking.
Collaborate with institutional research and enrollment leadership to develop dashboards and reports that guide recruitment marketing and student engagement efforts.
Recruitment Strategy & Communication
Oversee the of prospective student communication plans from first contact through enrollment leveraging the CRM for personalized engagement.
Partner with marketing to develop and implement strategic communication workflows including email text and print campaigns
Ensure datadriven decisionmaking in recruitment strategies leveraging analytics to refine targeting and messaging
Support namebuying strategies and external data integration to enhance prospect development.
Compliance & Best Practices
Maintain compliance with FERPA and institutional policies regarding student data and communication.
Ensure data governance reporting integrity and secure handling of admission records.
Stay ahead of industry trends continuously refining operations to align with best practices in higher education admissions.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelors degree in a related field.
Significant experience in admission operations enrollment management or CRM administration.
Expertise in CRM platforms (e.g. Slate Radius TargetX) and ERP systems (e.g. Banner).
Strong data analysis reporting and strategic planning skills.
Excellent leadership project management and communication abilities.
Ability to lead teams manage competing priorities and drive results in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred:
Experience implementing and managing Slate CRM at a high level.
Familiarity with enrollment strategies for early college graduate or independent school admissions.
Knowledge of best practices in student recruitment marketing and engagement analytics.
