Position Overview

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will work alongside a team of experienced Otolaryngologists and medical professionals to provide comprehensive ENT care to a diverse patient population. New graduates are encouraged to apply as extensive training and mentorship will be provided to ensure a successful transition into the specialty.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Care: Assist in evaluating diagnosing and managing conditions related to the ear nose throat head and neck.

• Patient Consultations: Conduct thorough patient histories and physical exams order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Procedural Assistance: Support physicians during inoffice procedures and surgical cases.

• Treatment Management: Perform minor procedures including ear cleaning nasal packing suturing and biopsies as appropriate.

• PostOperative Care: Monitor patient recovery manage followup visits and address postprocedural concerns.

• Patient Education: Counsel patients on treatment plans procedures medications and preventive care.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate thorough and timely electronic medical records (EMR).

• Collaboration: Work closely with the physicians nurses audiologists and other clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.

• Board Certification (NCCPA for PAs or AANP/ANCC for NPs) or eligibility required.

• Valid New Jersey NP or PA license (or ability to obtain prior to start date).

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.

• New graduates with a strong interest in Otolaryngology are encouraged to apply; onthejob training and mentorship will be provided.
