Description
We are seeking a capable Surgical Tech Cardiovascular Operating Room who has acquired broad experience in caring for patients and has developed a sound understanding about the care of a particular patient population. The CVOR has 6 ORs with 1 hybrid room. We are a Level Cardiac Center with 1200 heart cases per year. Specialty areas include: General Surgery ENT Robotics Ophthalmology (Corneal; Retina Cell transplants) Complex GYN Complex Ortho/Spine Thoracic and Vascular.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent job training.
- Certification in Surgical Technology preferred.
- Two years multispecialty experience with one year in CVOR specialty area.
- Must be able to function as a clinical expert in CVOR service line and have the ability to float to other service lines as needed.
