Assistant Project Manager Water andWastewater Pipeline Construction

Job Type: Fulltime Permanent

State Utility Contractors a leading environmental service facilitiesbuilder in the Carolinas is seeking a skilled and experienced AssistantProject Manager to join our Pipeline Division at our corporate office inMonroe. As a 100 employeeowned company we foster a family atmosphere andprovide ample opportunities for professional growth and development. If you arepassionate about construction possess expertise in water and wastewaterpipeline construction and are looking for a chance to excel we invite you toapply.

Responsibilities:

Help receive quotes and negotiatewith subcontractors

Facilitate crews andsubcontractors on a daytoday basis

Manage the schedule budget andquality of work done on all projects

Complete Quantity takeoffs andorder materials

Correspondence with the client onany necessary tasks

Develop change orders

Maintain RFIs submittalsschedules as builts

Confirm safety standards arefollowed by employees and subcontractors

Estimating

Develop and issue purchase ordersand subcontracts

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree inConstruction Management Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology ispreferred.

2 to 5 years of relevantexperience in water and wastewater pipeline construction.

Strong attention to detail andability to review and analyze documents effectively.

Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and externalstakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to workwell under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Computer and technical skills(proficient in Excel and Microsoft Project preferred)

Desire to learn the constructionproject management field and grow with a company

Professionally represent thecompany to the owners architects engineers subcontractors governmentofficials and inspectors

Detailoriented and driven
