Job Description
What youll do
We are looking for Complex Care Assistants who have previous healthcare experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs including ventilation OP and NP Deep Suction and seizure management experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for a rewarding role supporting a delightful young child who has a diagnosis of Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy; you will work alongside a Care Assistant with the Senior Carer taking the lead in managing her complex health needs whilst enabling full and enriched social engagements. The senior team members will manage the childs respiratory interventions (Ventilation OP/NP Deep Suction) and Seizure Management. The team of Carers play a valuable role in supporting the Nurse/Lead Carer in oral suction as required and additional therapy interventions; sensory play physio and moving and handling.
This is an opportunity to contribute to making a real difference to the child while working within a supportive family home.
