Job Description
Position Overview:
As the Director of Labor and Delivery Womens Services you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our maternity care programs. You will lead a talented team of healthcare professionals ensuring the highest standards of care for mothers and babies. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Labor and Delivery unit ensuring exceptional patient care and safety.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Lead mentor and inspire a team of nurses and support staff fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage budgets resources and staffing to meet departmental goals.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in womens health and maternity care.
MustHave Qualifications:
- Current North Carolina RN licensure.
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification.
NiceToHave Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration or related field (highly preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of management or leadership experience in a healthcare setting (preferred).
