Job Description

Job Title: Survey Data Collection Assistant (Temporary Position)

Location: Boston MA 02108

Pay Rate: $21.86/Hour on W2 (All Inclusive)

Duration: 3 Months (Possibility of Extension)

Hours: 8 hours per week 104 total hours over 13 weeks)

  • Flexible schedule between MondayFriday 8:00 AM 12:00 PM
  • Example: Work MondayThursday from 8:00 AM 10:00 AM 2 hours/day)

Are you looking for a meaningful parttime opportunity to contribute to public health initiatives We are seeking a Survey Data Collection Assistant to support our healthcare dapartment. This is a temporary role with the potential for extension offering flexible hours and the chance to work in a collaborative and impactful environment.

About the Role:

As a Survey Data Collection Assistant you will play a key role in supporting the annual survey conducted by the department. Your primary responsibility will be to communicate with school nurses across public private and charter schools statewide to collect critical data on pediatric asthma and diabetes among students in grades K8.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with School Nurses: Reach out to school nurses who have not yet completed the survey providing them with guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely data submission.
  • Build Partnerships: Foster positive relationships with school nurses to increase survey participation and response rates.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain projectrelated logs and ensure accurate documentation of survey progress.
  • Reporting: Provide clear timely and accurate updates on project status to the epidemiologist(s) and team.
  • Customer Service: Offer courteous and attentive assistance to school nurses answering questions and resolving issues to ensure a smooth survey process.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable making phone calls and providing customer service.
  • Interest in public health data collection or community outreach is a plus!
